From the deep recesses of time man learnt to express himself in many forms, dance being one of them. Progress being inevitable, Bharat Muni consolidated the knowledge that was present at the time and from it emerged the greatest treatise of performing arts ever created. To this day none has surpassed his effort.

By the grace of his effort we have been able to establish a school that we believe does justice and lives up to that high standard that he had set.

Bharata Natyam has found a home in South Africa.
